Cusinato Cuts Down Kalas

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante
Angelo Cusinato
Angelo Cusinato

Kane Kalas raised it up and got two callers before Angelo Cusinato shipped it all in for some 80,000-plus.

Kalas called with two kings, but Cusinato had the rockets.

{a-}{a-} held on a board of bricks and while Kalas was left to rebuild, Cusinato's looking a whole lot like the chip leader.

Kane Kalas

2014 New Jersey Kane Kalas was on the better end of a classic cooler with aces over kings this level.

As a result, the 2014 WPT Borgata Open runner up is over 100,000 and contending.

Say Goodnight

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante

Nutty Québécois Philippe D'Auteuil just bluffed off all his chips to Brian Wang betting betting more than a third of his stack with a flush draw on an {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{6-Hearts} board, then piling the rest in when the river bricked.

Wang called it off hesitantly with {K-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and didn't show until it was clear D'Auteuil held just queen high.

Wang is now comfortably in chip boss position as the former EPT London finalist D'Auteuil settles up with his massage therapist and makes for the exits.

Dinner Break Leader

Level 7 : 250/500, 75 ante
Brian Wang
Brian Wang

Brian Wang comes into post-dinner break play with the chiplead and a brand new pair of partypoker-branded Monster DNA Headphones.

The Torontonian built up 140,425 before the break and after the big stacks were counted, his was deemed biggest.

Good thing, since the WPT was giving away the gear.
