The British legends have taken their seats in the £1 million guaranteed Main Event. One of them, Simon Trumper, is one of the directors here. He's usually quite talkative at and away from the tables, but he's lost his voice, which could be good news for those who he's seated with today.
The other is the legendary Willie Tann who has carved himself a living from this crazy game for longer than most of this field have been alive.
The floor staff have informed the players that there will be a 15-minute dinner break at the end of every second level with a 75-minute dinner break after the completion of the sixth level, which is also when late registration ends.
Steven Warburton, fresh from his third place finish in the High Roller event, was in the big bind and called a 375 late position raise from Florian Duta. The flop fell and Warburton check-called a 450 bet. Warburton checked the turn and folded when Duta took continued with a 1,050 bet.
Michael Fletcher opened to 350 from middle position and was called by Carlo Citrone two seats to his left, the small blind (who wishes to remain anonymous) and Kelly Saxby in the big blind.
The action checked to Fletcher on the flop, Fletcher bet 700 and only Mr Anon called. On the turn, Fletcher bet 1,075 when checked to and was called, then bet 2,000 on the river, but his anonymous opponent didn't make the call on this street.
If you followed our High Roller coverage you should remember we mentioned that Terry Jordon is not afraid to splash around in pots and play for stacks at any time. A few moments ago, he checked from the big blind on a flop and then called a 4,500 bet from Steve Brown in what was apparently a four-bet pot preflop.
Both Jordon and Brown checked the turn, leading Jordon to be 12,000 on the river, prompting a fold from his opponent.
There's another talented player in the Day 1b field, a certain Matthew Davenport, and he has climbed to 33,000 after the first few hands here at Dusk Till Dawn.
It was Kelly Saxby who kicked off the preflop betting round, raising to 325 from the button. Davenport called in the small blind an Michael Fletcher called from the big blind. All three players checked the arrival of the flop, but Davenport led for 400 on the turn. Fletcher folded and Saxby called.
The completed the board and Davenport bet again, making it 1,500 to see a showdown. Saxby called, then mucked when she was shown for a set of sixes.
Dan Owston made it 225 to go from middle position and Colin Marks called from the next seat along. David Gomez squeezed on he button to 1,200 and only Marks called.
The flop was checked by Marks, bet to the tune of 1,300 by Gomez and called by Marks. Both players then checked the turn, before Marks bet 2,050 on the river. Gomez wasn't interested in paying this bet and folded, leaving Marks to add to his stack.
The big players keep on coming down to Dusk Till Dawn including Carlo Citrone, Alex Spencer, Chris Gordon and Andy Black.
Gordon bust from Day 1a of the Main Event when his lost to Peter Wigglesworth's when the board four-flushed. It goes without saying he'll be hoping to run better on Day 1b.
Andy Black, the Irish legend, is also in the field and should provide ample entertainment throughout the day.
James Clarke checked from the big blind seat on a flop and Wentao Pei checked from the next seat along. Leo McClean, on the cutoff, bet 600. Clarke then called, but accidentally put in a red 1,000 chip into the pot along with a blue 100 chip, which was deemed a raise and he was instructed to put another 100 into the pot.
Pei called and McClean called.
The turn was the and all three players checked, with Clarke leading for 1,800 on the river. Pei called, McClean folded and Clarke won an early pot courtesy of his .
