An unorthodox move just almost won Hüsnü Sincar a lot of chips but instead, he's gotten pretty unlucky to drop to about 260,000.
Sincar had called Ergenyi Taranuk's raise preflop before open-shoving the flop, despite there only being around 10,000 in the pot and Taranuk having about 70,000 behind.
Taranuk called with but found to his astonishment that Sincar held for a set of eights. No matter, the Russian hit running and to backdoor into a flush and double up to around 160,000.
Andrey Shatilov fired out a bet of 95,000 after Chino Rheem checked the flop. The button folded but Rheem made the call to see the turn which both players checked.
Rheem led out for 23,000 on the river, it looked as though Shatilov was going to fold but suddenly he declared, "Call." Rheem flipped and the Russian silently mucked his hand.
Salim Fakih has just been sent to the rail by [Removed:2]. The latter had opened from the cutoff and then called when Fakih, on the button, moved all-in for around 20,000.
Maksoud showed and found himself up against the lowly and when the board ran out it was game over for Fakih.
Royal Flush Girl Sonia Yasmin Ali is certainly not just a pretty face; and Marvin Rettenmaier has many talents outside of poker. The two take some time out from the WPT Merit Cyprus Classic to perform an acoustic cover of Emeli Sande's 'Next to Me'.
Erik Cajelais check-raised Andrey Shatilov from 4,300 to 10,500 on a flop of , the Russian did not seem completely sure what to do but eventually opted to just flat-call.
Cajelais then led out for 18,000 - astute viewers might have noticed the very slightest bit of trembling fingers. Shatilov took a deep breath himself and elected this time to fold.
