It was a fourway raised pot, Erik Cajelais had raised to 40,000 with calls from Ran Azor, Victor Paraschiv and Walid Bou Habib.
The flop was checked to Azor who bet 80,000 and Paraschiv was the sole caller. On the turn, Azor bet 80,000 a second time and again Paraschiv just called.
The came on the river and Azor now checked, Paraschiv fired a chunky 205,000 - Azor made the call after some debate.
The Russian showed for the back door flush, beating Azor's own .
We just wrote about our seventh double up, scrap that, make it eight.
Gilboa Yossi opened to 42,000 under the gun and then called when Sam El Sayed moved all-in for an additional 269,000 from the small blind. El Sayed turned over to Yossi's pocket eights.
El Sayed caught an ace on the flop, it held, and the former WPT Amneville champion survives.
We have just had our seventh double up in the past few levels, this time it was Joseph El Khoury who is the owner of someone else's chips.
Artur Voskanyan opened to 45,000 under the gun and was called by Ran Azor on the button. El Khoury moved all-in for 250,000 and when Voskanyan folded Azor made the call.
Azor:
El Khoury:
By the river the board read and El Khoury doubled up.
Quite a recovering from Marvin Rettenmaier in the last hour, he's back over a million chips after Sam El Sayed paid off a 116,000 bet on the river of a board only to be shown by the German.
Lynn Gilmartin spoke with Rettenmaier during a break yesterday:
Sam El Sayed and Marvin Rettenmaier have been involved in a number of pots recently, with each taking it in turns to take each other's chips.
In a hand a few minutes ago El Sayed moved all-in on a board after Rettenmaier had bet 136,000 leaving just 140,000 behind and when Rettenmaier made the fold El Sayed showed him !
Now Rettenmaier has some of those chips back after having bets called on the turn and river of a board whilst holding to El Sayed's .
Joseph El Khoury has been the short stack for some time now but he's just managed a double up when he was all in with against Victor Paraschiv's on a flop, the turn put Paraschiv ahead but the on the river gave El Khoury a straight to survive.
Walid Bou Habib opened to 35,000 from the cutoff and usually this would take down the blinds and antes without much of a fight; but not this time.
On this occasion he found callers in the shape of Erik Cajelais (button), Ran Azor (small blind) and Joseph El Khoury (big blind). The quartet shared a flop reading and the action checked around Cajelais who bet 48,000. Azor and Bou Habib called and it was three-handed to the turn.
Again it was checked to Cajelais and he bet once more, this time increasing the size to 120,000. Azor paused for a few moments before moving all-in, covering both players. Bou Habib tank folded and Cajelias mucked his hand.
Bou Habib showed for top pair and a flush draw, a hand many of his table mates thought he should go with.
