Shortly before the break, David 'The Dragon' Pham busted out of the tournament. He was up to about 15,000 early, but wasn't able to hold on to the first break.
Tournament Director Jack Effel just made an announcement that affected everyone in the room. Regarding the controversy over the playing cards, Effel announced that U.S. Playing Card (the official card of the WSOP) will be providing new setups. We're not sure when the new cards will arrive, but Effel promises they will be here.

Mizrachi led out 750 after an ace-high flop, and both players checked after an eight fell on the turn. FossilMan bet 1,300 after a Queen fell on the river and was called by Mizrachi, who turned over A-Q and took the pot.
