Men "The Master" Nguyen raises to 200 and a player with the impressive name of Aragh Ghaneian makes it 750. Nguyen goes all in for his last 2,000. The Master has J-J to Ghaneian's A-A. The board is K-10-5-9-X and Men the Master is out.

Poker Popularity Soaring

One only has to walk around the huge room at the 2007 WSOP, where every table is in use, to notice how many new faces there are. It underscores just how popular poker has become.

Yes, there are some well known faces sprinkled in the line-up, but most of the pros are waiting to play at 5 p.m. in the $2,500 H.O.R.S.E Event. This may be a lucky break for one of the unknown players among the sea of people in this event. This may be their chance to emerge and join the ranks of WSOP Bracelet winners.

Slidell, Louisiana Should be Proud

That is where Fred Berger hails from and he won the 2002 WSOP Gold Bracelet in $3,000 Pot Limit Hold'em. In Event #2 this year, the Mixed Hold'em, Berger took fifth. He is up to 7,200.
