We Begin

The players have returned from break and have begun their heads-up battle for the bracelet. And here's the chip count:

Saro Getzoyan : 1,580,000
Geoff Sanford: 970,000

Saro Getzoyan Wins A Huge Pot

The two players capped the betting before the flop, guaranteeing that this would be a major confrontation. Getzoyan called bets on the {7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{J-Spades} flop and the {4-Diamonds} turn, and when Sanford checked after the {2-Spades} hit on the river, Getzoyan let out a long breath before making a 100K bet. Sanford called and showed {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}, Getzoyan had pocket tens and took down a massive pot.

Just Like That

Another pot won on the flop and Geoff Sanford is nearly back to even terms with Saro Getzoyan. The blinds are so big right now that it could all turn on a single hand.

Brutal River

With the board reading {2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} Sanford checked and Getzoyan bet. Sanford thought a bit before making the call, and Getzoyan turned over {A-Clubs}{3-Spades}, for a pair on the river. Sanford took one last look at his A-Q before throwing it in the muck.

Friendly Game

The players are sitting in the 7 and 9 seats, across from each other and very close. They both have their game faces on...but then there will be a stray comment and both of them will break out in wide, relaxed smiles. Until the next deal comes and the shields go up.
