Don Todd Is Eliminated in 8th Place

After Geoff Sanford raised to 30K, Don Todd re-raised from the big blind and Sanford called. They saw a flop of {8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{3-Spades} and the two players engaged in a raising war that didn't end until the last of Todd's chips were in the center of the table. Todd held an unimproved {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}, while Sanford had him utterly crushed with a set of Threes. Todd hit a meaningless Ace on the turn and was eliminated in 8th place, winning $30,198.

David Gee Cracks Aces

In a battle of the blind Ray Dehkharghani check-raised David Gee after they saw a {5-Clubs}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop. Gee called, and when the {Q-Spades} turned Dehkharghani's bet was raised by Gee. Dehkharghani three-bet, Gee called, and when the {6-Clubs} fell on the river Dehkharghani's bet was again raised by Gee. Ray called and turned over pocket Aces, while Gee had KQ for two pair and the pot.

Ray Dehkharghani Is Eliminated in 7th Place

The hand after his Aces were cracked Ray Dehkharghani re-raised William Thorsson in the small blind and was called. Dehkharghani bet dark before the {J-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop and Thorsson called. When the {6-Diamonds} hit on the turn Ray put in the last of his chips and Thorsson made the call. His {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} dominated Dehkharghani's {K-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and when no nine hit on the river Dehkharghani was eliminated in 7th place. He won $41,069.

Tom Koral Wins A Pot From Geoff Sanford

In the small blind Tom Koral raised and Geoff Sanford called. The flop came {3-Spades}{8-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Koral check-called Sanford's bet. Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn and the {A-Spades} on the river, and Sanford's pocket Sevens came in second place to Koral's straight with the QJ. Koral was looking for Sanford to take a stab at the pot but the trap was never triggered.
