Gavin gets back some chips

The pot is raised to 275 by the cutoff, Gavin Smith calls from the button, as does CK Hua in the big blind.

The flop is {7-Spades}{5-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}

Hua checks, the cutoff bets, and both Smith and Hua call.

The turn is the {5-Clubs} and it is checked around.

The river is the {8-Spades}

Hua bets 600, the cutoff folds and Smith raises to 1600. Hua mucks his hand and Gavin takes down the pot.

The Box

Jason Strasser, Michael Banducci and Allen Cunningham are seated at the same table and have been discussing "The Box", the sequestered area where Banducci played at the final table of Event 10, $2,000 No-Limit Hold-Em. The words "it sucks" were used, because your friends and family can't watch as you play for a bracelet. Players are also quarantined during breaks--they're escorted to the bathroom to prevent the players from gathering info gleaned from the live broadcast.

C.K. Hua Doubles Up

C.K. Hua moved all-in after a 6-8-9 flop, only to find that his K-9 was crushed after his opponent flopped a straight with 10-7. But the turn brought a 6 and the river a 9 to give Hua the pot. He's now at 6,500.

"Can I borrow one?"

Phil Gordon just went over to congratulate his friend Allen Cunningham on his recent bracelet win. He was heard to say "Can I borrow one, you have five!".

That's One Way to Win a Pot

After calling a 500 bet on the flop David Williams and another player checked it down the rest of the way. The other player mucked his cards, conceding the hand...and Williams didn't show his cards either as the chips were pushed his way. You never know, you might actually have the best of it.
