David Williams Putting On a Show

It seems like every five minutes we're getting an update on a crazy David Williams hand. After a short-stacked player moved in for his last 3,175 Williams asked, "Do you want some loose action?" Apparently the other player said he wouldn't mind it because Williams called with {8-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and eventually lost the pot to his opponent's {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

A few hands later Williams again faced an all-in raise before the flop. "One of these days one of these loose calls is going to work out for me," he said, just before calling with {6-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. His opponent's {J-Hearts}{4-Spades} wasn't quite a premium hand either, but this was "one of those days" as Williams flopped two pair and turned a full house.

Not content with that bit of good fortune, Williams tried making a move against Darren Kowalczik. With the board showing {3-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades} Kowalczik bet 5,000, Williams raised 10,000 more, and Kowalczik moved all-in. Williams had to make the call and turned over {J-Spades}{10-Spades}, while Kowalczik had...{A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. The {A-Hearts} on the river paired Kowalczik and didn't make Williams' flush, winning Darren the pot.

Williams was so ticked off about the whole hand that he paid off in green 25 chips, so Kowalczik now has a green fortress sitting in front of him. He's stack now sits at 39,000.
