Nam Le Outkicked, Then Doubles

On a flop of {J-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Nam Le checked and his opponent checked from the big blind. The turn brought the {3-Diamonds}. The big blind bet 2,000 and Le called. The river was the {10-Diamonds}. The big blind checked, Le bet 2,900, and the big blind called. Le showed {K-Clubs}{J-Spades} but was dominated by his opponent's {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}.

Shortly thereafter, Le doubled with Q-Q vs. his opponent's A-Q. The ladies held up and Le doubled to 35,000.

Steve Wong Eliminates Thor Hansen

Thor pushed all-in on a board reading 6-3-A-2, and Steve Wong called almost instantly. "No!" was the only thing Thor could say as Wong turned over A-2 for top and bottom pair.

Thor showed A-K and would need a king to fall on the river to stay alive. Instead, another deuce came on the river, giving Wong a full house and the victory.

Thor was eliminated from the tournament on the hand.

The big blind bet 1,600, Billirakis moved all in and the big blind called. The big blind showed 10-8 while Billirakis tabled K-K. The river was an ace and Billirakis doubled again. Vinny Returns to Form

Vinny Vinh has returned to the poker tables of the Amazon Room and is wasting no time letting people know he's arrived.

Facing a 3,975 preflop all-in bet from a player in the cutoff seat, Vinny called from the button holding {J-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

The {6-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop gave Vinny the top set, but also gave his opponent, holding {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, an open-ended straight draw. The drama was short-lived, as the {9-Diamonds} fell on the turn, giving Vinny a full house.

His opponent would make his straight on the river, but to no avail.

Floor!

An EP player raised to 1,200, Jon Friedberg called from the button, and the small blind moved all in for 7,175. The EP player folded and Friedberg asked the dealer how much more it was for him to call. He was told it was 4,975 and made the call, only to discover that he actually owed the pot 5,975-- an additional 1,000. The floor was called over and ruled that even though the dealer had called out the wrong amount, Friedberg would not be permitted to pull back his bet. Friedberg called the extra 1,000 and showed {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts} to his opponent's {A-Spades}{K-Hearts}.

The board came {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{A-Spades}. As the pot was pushed to the small blind, Friedberg could be heard muttering "I don't call 6,000 more there." His stack sits at 27,500.
