While eating breakfast at the Sao Paulo Cafe adjacent to the Rio Convention Center, the cacophany of the "dead money parade" heading down the hallway toward the Amazon Room was impossible to ignore. Guys in baseball caps and sports jerseys, Hawaiian shirts and online poker swag trudged toward their tables, their "game faces" already on. Some made last-minute phone calls to their wives or their poker buddies to fend of their nerves. Others barked last night's bad beat story to whomever would listen.
