What's a Flop?

Five hands have passed since a flop has been shown. Lots of the players are taking their time to think through their actions before committing to a hand. Lots of preflop raises, even more preflop folds.

Players Are Playing Tighter Than Normal

Lack of hands to report is evidence of how tight the play has become. Since the game switches between Limit and NL every 30 minutes, most of the play tends to tighten up during the NL round, as all of the players seem to want to make the final table. Hardly any money has exchanged hands and chip stacks remain roughly the same.

New Level

Back to No-Limit, with the blinds at 4000/8000. We are just one big hand away from the final table. The final ten players are playing on the one table and so far the short stacks have survived.

Level: 16

Blinds: 4,000/8,000

Ante: 0

The Redraw Has Happened

We are now down to ten players and the tournament staff has decided to do a redraw and assigned all ten players to one table. They will eliminate one player and call it a night.

Corey Parpart Eliminated

Corey's all-in raise was called by Christoph Niesert.

Corey held {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} while Christoph held {K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The flop was {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{9-Clubs}.

The turn {K-Diamonds} put Christoph in front and the blank river {5-Spades} ended Corey's tournament.

Unlucky 13

Mark Radoja put all his money in with A-Q and was called by Rene's pocket nines. The nines held up and Mark Radoja was eliminated in 13th.

J.C. Tran Eliminated

After losing a prior hand, Tran found himself short-stacked and pushed all in with A-2 and was called by Christoph Neisert with A-9. Both players missed the board and Tran was eliminated.
