Tom Schneider Wins Event #46 ($1,000 Stud Hi-Lo), Hoyt Verner Eliminated in Second Place

Schneider brought it in with the {4-Spades}, Verner raised with the {A-Clubs} and Schneider called.

Fourth Street:
Schneider {4-Spades}{2-Spades}
Verner {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

Verner checked, Schneider bet and Verner called.

Fifth Street:
Schneider {4-Spades}{2-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Verner {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Verner bet, Schneider raised, Verner made it three bets all in and Schneider called.

Schneider held kings and deuces for two pair, while Verner turned over a pair of sevens and four to an eight low. The river missed Verner and he was eliminated.

Tom Schneider wins Event # 46 ($1,000 Stud Hi-Lo), $147,713, a Corum watch and his second WSOP bracelet of 2007!

Hoyt Verner takes home $82,064 for his runner-up finish.

Congratulations to Tom "DonkeyBomber" Schneider for becoming the first player to win two bracelets this year! He's had a spectacular Series with wins in this event and the $2,500 Omaha/8-Stud/8 as well as a fourth-place finish in the $2,500 H.O.R.S.E.

(Not bad for a guy who claims to hate playing Stud/8!)
