Evelyn Builds Her Stack

An opponent raises from the button and Evelyn Ng three-bets from the big blind. The opponent calls and the flop comes {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Ng bets and her opponent calls. Both players check the turn when the {8-Diamonds} falls. The {10-Diamonds} hits on the river and Ng bets out. Her opponent calls as she turns over {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} for the ace-high flush. She's now at 3,800 in chips.

Tony G Takes Pot with Two Pair

After being down to 400 at one point, Tony G has made a great recovery. Tony bet out 400 from the cut-off, the player on the button called, the small and big blind folded. The flop was 2-3-4, Tony bet 400 and his opponent called. Tony bet 400 when the {10-Clubs} came on the turn, and his opponent called. Both players checked the {10-Spades} on the river. Tony showed 4-5 for two pair, his opponent mucked his cards and Tony racked in the pot. After the hand, Tony was up to 7,000.

Silence is Deafening

There's something missing in a shootout tournament that's present in almost every other tournament format. Dealers shouting "Seat Open!" It's oddly unsettling without the odd dealer shout to punctuate the action.

Aces? No Good

Board:
{Q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}

An opponent is all in on the turn and Kenna James calls. James has {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} and the opponent has {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}. James gets {2-Spades} for the flush and is up to 6,500. James says it's the third time he's cracked aces today.
