After a flop of Ram Vaswani checked from the small blind and David "The Dragon" Pham bet 800. Vaswani then check-raised to 2,800, Pham reraised to 7,800, and Vaswani moved all-in. Once all the chips were in the middle Vaswani turned over for the flopped straight and Pham turned over the... for the same straight and a straight-flush draw.
When the hit on the turn Pham was freerolling for the entire pot, but the river brought the and after the chop they were both back where they started, with both holding around 16,000.
Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond saw a flop of with Barny Boatman. On the turn of the , Galfond bet 2,300 after Boatman checked. Boatman then reraised to 5,300 and Galfond called.
The river brought the and Boatman led out for 3,000. Galfond folded and is now down to 8,200 chips while Boatman increases to 36,000.
Robert Williamson III is down to 6,300 after he bet 5,000 on the river and was called down. "Busted flush draw," Williamson said, as his opponent tabled a pair of eights to take down the pot.
With the board reading on the river, Jonathan Little checked, Orel Hershiser fired out 5,000 and Little called. The legendary MLB pitcher turned up for a full house and increased his stack to 32,000. After the hand, Little was down to 19,000.
Daniel Negreanu raised to 800 from early position. Two players behind him in middle position called. Three players took a flop of . Negreanu was first to act and checked. The next player bet 1,600 and was called by the other middle position player and also by Negreanu.
On the turn, the , Negreanu decided to lead out for 2,600 and only the player that bet the flop called.
Play was heads up going to the river and the fell. Negreanu led out again for 3,500 this time and his opponent instantly moved all in. After some thought, Negreanu mucked his hand as he looked down at his dwindling stack of 8,300 chips.
With the board reading and 9,000 in the pot Chris Moneymaker bet 5,000 and got the call. The 2003 World Champion tabled pocket queens for the set and that was good enough to win a pot worth 19,000.
On a flop of Kristy Gazes moved all in with and had the misfortune to run into her opponent's . No miracle for Gazes on the turn or river and she headed for the rail.
Ralph Perry opened the pot from the cutoff, Hevad "Rain" Khan reraised to 2,000, and Erik Seidel three-bet to 10,000. Perry folded, Khan four-bet, Seidel moved all in and Khan called.

The board blanked out and Seidel's kings held up. He increased his stack to 37,000 while Khan was left with about 8,000.
With the board reading on the river, Theo Tran bet 5,000 and Phil Laak moved all in for 19,000. Tran agonized for several minutes over his decision, asking the dealer if he could turn up his cards without folding. As that is against the TDA rules (and he would incur a time penalty for doing so) the dealer would not budge and Tran finally folded, leaving himself with only 4,000 in chips.
Kathy Liebert and Jan von Halle to her right were just involved in a hand in which Liebert checked the river and von Halle checked behind. Sure, this isn't too big of a deal, but von Halle checked behind with a royal flush.
As soon as the hands were turned over, Andy Black, Joe Sebok, and Amnon Filippi all jumped from their seats and yelled for the floor to come over. Von Halle was given a warning for collusion as he checked the absolute nuts last to act on the river.
The other players at the table chuckled, but all understand the seriousness that can ensue. The tournament directors that came to the table didn't find this a laughing matter at all.
