MrCasino Picks Up an Early Pot

It's been a fairly even-paced start to the day so far. Many of the players are still sleepily ordering coffee or energy drinks, even the more extrovert among the field currently looking rather subdued -- both Davood "Bouffant" Mehrmand and John "Spiky" Racener have their respective extraordinary hairstyles concealed under hoods.

Mehrmand, incidentally, is currently seated next to Allen Kessler, and when I walked by was massively enjoying some kind of heated debate between Kessler and yesterday's bustee Chau Giang about some money owed to Giang.

Nevertheless, some poker is being played. Craig "MrCasino" Gray has just taken half of a chunky four-way pot, betting or raising all the way with {A-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {3-Clubs} {7-Clubs} up and {2-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} in the hole to take the low; another player holding {A-Spades} {4-Spades} {7-?} {2-Spades} {9-Spades} {A-Hearts} {9-Clubs} got nothing; a third player holding {K-Spades} {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {8-Hearts} mucked his cards, and a player who made a flush with {K-Hearts} {2-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {6-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} took the high.
