American Pie Final Table

Good afternoon, poker fans and welcome to the final day of this $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better marathon. Your reporters may be cobweb ridden and in desperate need of a coffee fix, but your remaining players seem to be surprisingly lively, Greg Pappas in particular looking like he's in high spirits.

As implied by the title, this is an all-American final table, perhaps showing the dominance of my across-the-pond friends in these games. Us Europeans don't appear to be accustomed to the world of limit, yet it's one that you guys seem to play, and subsequently succeed in with considerable ease.

So, who will take bracelet gold? Will it be the unrelenting focus of superstar Michael Mizrachi, the unstoppable aggression of John Racener or the undeniable experience of veteran 'Miami' John Cernuto? Only time will tell, but from this reporter's perspective, let's hope we won't have to wait till 5.45am again to find out.
