Frank Vukasin Has Been Eliminated

After being crippled in the hand with Michael Kamran, Frank Vukasin tossed in his last 8,000 and Jason Mercier raised to 32,000. When the cards were revealed Mercier's {A-Spades} {7-Hearts} had Vukasin's {K-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} dominated, and when Frank wasn't able to catch a king he was eliminated in 18th place.

Nicolas Levi Picks Off A Bluff

With the board reading {4-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} and over 60,000 in the pot Nicolas Levi bet 59,000 and Duncan Bell raised it to 139,000. Levi thought for a few minutes before making the call, and when Bell showed his {5-Clubs} {10-Clubs} Levi rolled over his {A-Clubs} {7-Hearts} and scooped the pot.

Play Continues...Technically

As with most events on Day 2, once the final two tables are reached players tend to make a stand in their best effort to last to the final table. While it's a good strategy that pays off well, it unfortunately means that time can pass without too may significant hands to recap.

As the hours tick by here in the Amazon room, we're currently joined by the remaining 16 players in the 7-Card Stud World Championship, as well as the Ladies Event, which just finished.

Vacuum cleaners hum in the background while the few remaining railbirds continue to hug the rail in hopes that their friends, or family members, go deep.

Jason Sanders Eliminates Jacques Zaicik

Sanders raised to 36,000 from the cutoff and Zaicik moved all in for 250,000. Mercier took some time before making the call with {A-Spades} {Q-Spades}, which dominated Zaicik's {A-Clubs} {8-Spades}. Both players pair their ace on the {4-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} flop but Zaicik didn't catch an eight on the turn or river and was eliminated in 17th place. Sanders now has 965,000.
