Penny Musk Eliminated

With the action folded around to her in the small blind, Penny Musk called and Meliza Huynh checked her option. The flop came down {Q-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {4-Clubs}. All the money went in on the flop, Huynh having Musk covered.

Musk {4-Spades} {5-Diamonds}

Huynh {Q-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}

Both players flopped two pair, Huynh flopping the higher two. The turn was the {6-Diamonds}, the river was the {3-Clubs} and Musk was eliminated, while Huynh increased her stack to 33,500.

A Cloudy Day

Sunshine Gardner moved all in for her remaining chips from the cutoff. The button, Karen Black, looked down and found some pretty ladies to make the call. Gardner held {A-Clubs} {9-Hearts} and needed some help for the double up.

The flop came {K-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}, no help for Gardner. The turn was the {6-Spades} and the river blanked another one, the {7-Diamonds} to rain on Sunshine's parade.

"I'm Stupid but Not that Stupid!"

"Maridu"
"Maridu"
Maria "Maridu' Maynrick opened for a 4,000 raise from middle position and the action was folded to Patty Till in the big blind. Till checked her hole cards and folded {K-?} {10-?} face-up with a smile.

"I'll let you have this one," she said.

"What are you doing?" cried Maridu, as she flipped up {K-Hearts} {K-Clubs}, wishing she had gotten some action.

"You think I'm gonna raise all these big stacks with nothing? I'm stupid but not THAT stupid," she laughed as she stacked up the small pot.

Kelly McGlothlin Eliminated

Patty Till is turning into a one-woman wrecking ball. She just took another player out at her table, Kelly McGlothlin, who moved in with {9-?} {9-?} only to run into Till's {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades}. {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {3-Hearts} {K-Spades} {4-Spades} on the board and McGlothlin hit the rail while Till's stack grew to 115,000.

This was McGlothlin's second WSOP cash, her first coming in the 2006 Main Event, where she finished in 95th place out of more than 8,000 runners.

Shahade Doubles

Jennifer Shahade found a great spot to get all her money in. The board read {Q-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {3-Spades} {4-Diamonds} when Shahade moved in against Roslyn Quarto. Quarto thought and then called with a pair of eights in her hand. Shahade showed her what she didn't want to see: {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}.

On the river landed another seven, allowing Shahade to double up.
