Men "The Master" Nguyen has just been saved from extinction for the time being, rapidly approaching the money bubble.

In a multi-way pot, Nguyen got it all in on the flop, and got Hilbert Shirey to look him up. The board came {10-Clubs}

. Shirey showed down {A-Clubs}

, while The Master took it down with his {9-Clubs}

. This was a timely double up for Nguyen, who is still alive, sitting at 16,000.

James Bord Eliminated By Jim Pechac

Jim Pechac, who plays online as "azbigjim," just knocked out short-stacked Englishman James Bord.

Bord, who just 20 minutes ago celebrated his money finish by hugging a tablemate, will take home $4,025. This is Bord's second cash in the 2008 WSOP.
