The Drawing Game

On a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}, Perry Friedman called the rest of his chips, announcing "I'm on a draw." He turned over the king-high club draw, which put him behind his opponent's A-4-5-8. No club came, and Friedman is out.

Devilfish Hooked

Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott flopped a full house, having 9-9-x-x on a board of 9-3-3. An ace came on the turn, then on the river he ended up getting about 10,000 chips in the middle, only to find he was up against A-A-x-x.

All Aces Aren't Equal

Nenad Medic
Nenad Medic
After Nenad Medic and a couple of others limped, Gerd Schiesser bet 1,500 from the button, Medic called, and the others folded.

The flop came {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}, and Medic pushed all in. Schiesser called.

Medic {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Schiesser {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades}

In the battle of aces, the biggest card was that four in Schiesser's hand, helping him make the wheel. The turn and river brought no help to Medic, and he is out.

Men at Work

Men "the Master" Nguyen
Men "the Master" Nguyen
With eliminations happening so frequently, tables are breaking quickly as well. Men "the Master" Nguyen recently found himself shuffled from one table to the next three or four times in quick succession. Finally he was moved to Table #8 which won't be breaking soon, so it looks like Nguyen will be able to sit tight for awhile.

Of course, his chip stack continues to move up and down. Latest check has him at around 7,800.
