Todd Up, Morgan Down

In a big three-way hand, Eugene Todd's A-A-x-x outlasted Jordan Morgan's K-K-x-x and Todd has moved up to approximately 190,000 in chips. Meanwhile, Morgan is down to 15,000.

Back from the Brink

After slipping down to just 2,000 in chips, Greg Cox has won a series of pots and has built back up to 48,000. Most recently, Cox took a big pot from Colin York when his {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades} held up against York's {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{J-Clubs}{9-Hearts}.

Double Elimination

Jordan Morgan

A three way preflop all-in confrontation just took place between Jordan Morgan, Colin York, and Craig Natte with Morgan and York being the all-in players.

Morgan tabled {10-Clubs} {Q-Spades} {8-Clubs} {10-Spades}.
Colin York tabled {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {2-Clubs}.
Craig Natte tabled {A-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}.

All the way to the river we went {5-Diamonds} {K-Hearts} {Q-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {7-Hearts}.

Natte made the nut flush and eliminated two players in one go!

Morgan, being the shortest stack, is our 19th-place finisher ($5,905).
York just crept in to the next pay level in 18th ($7,770)

Rob Hollink is Our 15th-Place Finisher ($10,360)

Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink
Rob Hollink must be wishing he hadn't drawn a seat at Vanessa Selbst's table when we reached 17 players, as she's just busted him.

All the money went in on a flop of {9-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {2-Clubs}.

Hollink was holding {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {K-Clubs} for an overpair and flush draw.

Selbst was holding {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {7-Spades} {10-Spades} for a bigger overpair.

The turn {8-Hearts} and river {J-Spades} brought a set for Hollink but also a backdoor straight for Selbst, meaning we lose Hollink in 15th.

Your Top Five

Vanessa Selbst -- 460,000
Jamie Pickering -- 293,000
Calen McNeil -- 182,000
Craig Natte -- 170,000
Stanley Statkiewicz -- 170,000

Thirteen players remain (see "Chip Counts" for the other players' current stacks). They are playing down to the final nine who will come back tomorrow for the final table.

A dinner break is scheduled about 15 minutes from now, but it is possible the players may just play through.

Kyle Hegeman Eliminated in 13th ($10,360)

Kyle Hegeman
Kyle Hegeman
Eugene Todd limped from middle position, Stanley Statkiewicz completed from the small blind, and Kyle Hegeman checked his option from the big blind.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}. Statkiewicz checked, Hegeman bet 27,000, and Todd called. Statkiewicz then reraised pot, Hegeman called with his last chips, and Todd got out of the way.

Statkiewicz: {2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
Hegeman: {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

Statkiewicz had the set of threes, but Hegeman had a big 'ol wrap going. Lots of cards could help Hegeman.

Unfortunately for him, none of those cards arrived. The {6-Hearts} on the turn gave him even more outs. But {2-Spades} on the river meant Hegeman was gone. Statkiewicz is up over 300,000.
