Tempers Flare

Isabelle Mercier has been the source of quite a commotion on Blue #6 over the last half-hour. She has been acting erratically and has been involved in several disagreements with her tablemates.

Most recently, Mark Vos raised to 1,200 in a hand. Before the action reached Mercier, she said, "I think I have to raise." However, when the action got to her she just called. A player yet to act in the hand wanted her to be required to put in a raise. A floorperson was called, who ruled that Mercier had declared a raise and must raise to at least 2,000 (which she did). When the action got back to Vos, who had Mercier covered, he reraised all in. Mercier knocked several stacks of chips over, said, "That must be a bad sign," and folded.

She unsteadily departed the Amazon Room for dinner about five minutes before the dinner break was called.
