Hand #28-- Ben Sprengers Eliminates Anders Henriksson (7th place, $120,249)

Anders Henriksson
Anders Henriksson
Anders Henriksson raised to 60,000 and Jacobo Fernandez took a peek at Henriksson's stack before folding. Ben Sprengers made the call and Chuck Sklar called from the big blind.

The flop came {K-Spades} {8-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} and Sklar bet 135,000. Henriksson took his time before moving all in for 285,000 and Sprengers instantly announced all in himself for 460,000. Sklar counted out his chips and thought a bit before folding.

The hands:

Henriksson: {9-Clubs} {9-Hearts}
Sprengers: {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts}

Sprengers needed to catch an ace and the {10-Clubs} on the turn didn't help. But, incredibly, the {A-Clubs} spiked on the river to give Sprengers the hand and cruelly send Henriksson out in 7th place.

Hand #25-- Ben Sprengers

Ben Sprengers raised to 43,000 and Scott Seiver called, as did Dave Seidman. The flop came {4-Clubs} {K-Hearts} {3-Spades} and Sprengers bet 75,000. The other two players folded and Sprengers took the pot.

Hand #24-- Dave Seidman Doubles through Scott Seiver

Dave Seidman
Dave Seidman
Scott Seiver raised to 40,000 and Seidman called. The flop came {4-Spades} {9-Hearts} {8-Hearts} and Seidman checked. Seiver bet 80,000 and Seidman raised to 320,000. Seiver moved all in, and Seidman called.

Seiver held {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds} to Seidman's open-ended straight draw with {J-Spades} {10-Spades}. The turn was the {4-Hearts}, but on the river Seidman caught the {7-Diamonds} on the river to make his straight and win a big double-up. He's now up to 1.35 million.
