Hold Up for Holtkamp

Jonathan Depa raised to 42,000 and then Kyle Hegeman came over the top for 150,000 total. Lennart Holtkamp looked down and found something he liked as he called all in for 109,000. Depa folded.

Holtkamp: {Q-Hearts}

Hegeman:

The flop nailed another queen for Holtkamp, {A-Spades}

. The turn gave Hegeman some more outs with the {K-Clubs}

, and then the river was the {10-Hearts}

, but wasn't what Hegeman needed. Holtkamp's hand held up and he doubled through.

Despite the lack of action at this final table, there are a lot of fans here to watch. Most of them are here to look on as Allen Cunningham goes for another bracelet. Max Pescatori has a few Italian buddies here as well.

What Was the Other One??

Kyle Kloeckner has been a little bit more active than the rest of the table of late. He has put in a couple of raises to 40,000 in the past minutes, winning the blinds each time.

This time, he's at it again, pushing in a 40,000-chip raise from early position. Action folds two seats over to Lennart Holtkamp, and he sweats out his cards. After a long glance, he announces, "All in." Kloeckner quickly folds, and Holtkamp flips over one card, the {4-Clubs}

, and slides them to the dealer.

The Ole Suck-Resuck

From under the gun, Kyle Hegeman raises it up to 42,000. Action folds around to Max Pescatori in the small blind, who puts in the call.

The flop comes {6-Clubs}

. Pescatori bets out 65,000, and Hegeman moves all in for his last 12,000 on top, which the Italian Pirate quickly calls. The hands are turned over:

Pescatori: {A-Spades}

Hegeman:

Hegeman is ahead with two pair, but his lead disappears when the turn brings the {A-Clubs}

, giving Pescatori a bigger two pair. Hegeman stands up and knocks the table, looking toward the rail.

Salvation finds him on the river though. The {7-Hearts}

makes him a full house, and draws a reaction from the players and specators. After hitting that river, Hegeman has doubled up to a somewhat-comfortable 242,000. Pescatori has dropped down a bit to around 280,000.

A Monster Laydown

From the button, Greg Hurst opens with a small raise to 28,000. The small blind folds, and Allen Cunningham makes the call.

The flop comes out {A-Diamonds}

. Cunningham checks, and Hurst puts out a bet of 50,000. Cunningham chuckles, turns over two of his cards, {2-?}

, and slides them to the muck. Hurst smiles wryly and turns over two of his own, {A-?}

Kloeckner Not Slowing Down

Kyle Kloeckner is bleeding chips. He has been probably the most active player at the table. It has worked for him at times, but every now and then he has gotten his hand caught in the cookie jar.

In the latest pot, he opened from early position with a raise to 36,000. The betting passed around to Max Pescatori, and he made the call from the blind.

The flop brought {A-Diamonds}

. Pescatori checked, and Kloeckner continued out for 50,000. Max paused for a minute, and then put in a minimum raise to 100,000. Kyle slammed a stack of chips together, and slapped his cards into the muck. As he continues to falter a little, his count has dropped to just 200,000, and he is now the table short stack.
