Penly, Kelly Trade Places
Lennart Holtkamp raises the full pot from middle position, making it 8,400 to go. David Penly is on the button, and he calls when the action returns to him. Next is John-Paul Kelly, and he raises the pot on top -- 27,600 more. Holtkamp folds, and Penly goes into the tank. He asks for a count, and learns that Kelly has 27,000 remaining. Instead of pushing back though, he makes the flat-call, and the two men go to the flop.
As the dealer burns the first card, Kelly slides those 27,000 chips into the pot dark, and sees the flop come . Penly didn't get much help, but he makes the call, and the two men turn over their hands:
