An Actual Hand

To prove that we're really following the action in the match between Lyle Berman and Alec Torelli, and not just taking potshots at how long the match is taking, we present the following hand that just occurred.

Preflop, Torelli made it 38,000 to go after Berman limped in. Berman made the call to see a flop of K-9-6. Torelli bet 52,000. Again, Berman made the call.

Both players checked through when the turn fell a 7. A river 6 paired the board, and this time Torelli bet 95,000. Berman made a quick call. Both players made top pair, but Torelli's queen kicker was one rank better than Berman's jack kicker.

After the hand, Torelli asked, "How do you feel about how badly I played the turn?"
