Stephen Su Eliminated

Details are limited, but just before the break, Stephen Su was sent home at the hands of Tom Schneider. Su made a {10-?} {7-?} low but couldn't compete with Schneider's {8-?} {5-?} low. Su made his exit and Schneider is up to approximately 70,000 in chips.

Jeffrey Lisandro Finds His Form

After flying below the radar for most of the day, Jeffrey Lisandro is now splashing the chips around. He just took a big pot from Chris Viox that saw Viox betting through sixth street. On the river the players showed:

Viox: (X) (X) {6-?} {5-?} {A-?} {8-?} (X)
Lisandro: (X) (X) {2-?} {A-?} {5-?} {9-?} (X)

Viox checked 7th street and Lisandro bet. Viox tossed out the chips and said "it's a bad call." It sure enough was, Lisandro rolled over {2-?} {A-?} {5-?} {9-?} ({2-?}) ({3-?}) ({6-?}) to win the pot. Viox mucked and is down to 27,000 while Lisandro climbs to about 52,000 chips.

Chris Viox Doubles Through John Turner

Chris Viox just picked up a much-needed double-up when he got all his chips in against John Turner. Turner finished with a {K-?} {4-?} {3-?} {2-?} {A-?} but Viox had the winner when he tabled {Q-?} {9-?} {7-?} {4-?} {3-?}. Viox doubled to about 19,000 while Turner's chip stack fell to roughly 22,000.

Mark Gerencher Eliminated

Mark Gerencher just became the most recently departed when his {8-?} {5-?} {4-?} {3-?} {2-?} finished runner-up to Joseph Michael's {6-?} {5-?} {3-?} {2-?} {A-?}. Gerencher made his hand by fifth street when Michael showed (X) (X) {A-?} {9-?} {J-?} but Michael ended up going runner-runner for the win.

35th - Trung Ly
36th - Simon Hennessey
37th - Manelic Minaya
38th - Ted Lawson
39th - Steven Merrifield
40th - Steve Fiorentini

Dave "F-Train" Behr Eliminated in 33rd Place ($2,473)

The last member of Team PokerNews has fallen. Dave "F-Train" Behr was all in on fourth street holding ({6-?}) ({4-?}) {8-?} {7-?} against the (X) (X) {4-?} {A-?} of his opponent. Behr caught two more sixes on fifth and sixth streets and by the river couldn't beat his opponent's {7-?} {6-?} low. He was eliminated in 33rd place and will collect $2,473 for his efforts.

Action Slows Down

With fewer tables in play, and prize money going up with every broken table, the play has slown down a bit. A vast majority of hands are not going to showdown and most pots are being won with a bet on 4th or 5th streets.
