Big Action on the Last Hand of the Level

Kenneth Terrell opened the pot with a raise to 140,000 from early position before Phillip Yeh reraised to 280,000 from the button. Robert Brown had his chips ready to push, but changed his mind and folded after Yeh's bet. Back around to Terrell. who pushed all in for 615,000 total, a bet that Yeh quickly called.

Terrell flipped over {A-Hearts}

Yeh flipped over {Q-Clubs}

Before the board was dealt Brown said he folded A-Q, not something Yeh wanted to hear.

All the way to the river {8-Diamonds}

.

Yeh is knocked back to 435,000 whereas Terrell is up to 1,315,000.

Firestone Gives Some Back

Philip Yeh and Bobby Firestone tangled again, and this time Yeh emerged victorious. Yeh called out of the big blind after Firestone raised preflop to 80,000. He called again when Firestone bet 100,000 on a flop of {2-Hearts}

. Both players checked through the {5-Diamonds}

turn. That gave Yeh an opening to fire 300,000 when the river came {3-Clubs}

. Firestone thought about briefly, then passed his cards in to the dealer.

No Credibility

When a player raises from the button they rarely get any credibility for having a hand. In this hand it's folded around to Robert Brown who makes a raise to 95,000 before seeing Tony Gargano move all in for 374,000 from the small blind. Brown goes in to the tank but ultimately folds.

Firestone Takes a Chunk Off Yeh

Bobby Firestone just won a huge pot off of Philip Yeh. Firestone raised the button to 80,000, and Yeh elected to make the call. Both players checked when the flop came {9-Diamonds}

. On the turn {4-Spades}

, Yeh led out for 120,000. Firestone gave the matter some thought, then called.

The river paired nines with the {9-Hearts}

. This time Yeh fired a 250,000-chip bet. Again Firestone paused to think through his decision, but not for long. As soon as he said, "Call," Yeh flashed a missed draw. Firestone table {Q-Spades}

for top pair to take down the pot. Firestone now has almost 1.5 million chips.

Runner Runner Clubs

Our first all-in in awhile saw Robert Brown open-push from middle position for 220,000. The larger stack of Barry Schultz made the call from the button and the blinds fold.

Off to the races as Brown showed {A-Hearts}

to Schultz's {10-Hearts}

.

The board ran {2-Hearts}

.

The last thing Schultz wanted to see on the river was the {10-Clubs}

to make his set as it also made a flush for Brown, giving him the pot.

Brown doubles up to 500,000 whereas Schultz is back to six figures on 930,000.

Yeh Shows the Power of Position and a Big Stack

Barry Schultz and Philip Yeh are two of the biggest stacks remaining in this tournament. Naturally, they are wary of tangling with each other. In a recent hand, Schultz raised preflop to 82,000. Action folded to Yeh on the button, who made it 230,000 to go. Both blinds folded, and Schultz quickly flashed {A-Clubs}

before throwing his hand in the muck.
