The Cards Don't Ly

Gavin Smith

On a flop of {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Spades}, Gavin Smith bet pot, Minh Ly reraised all in, and Smith made the call.

Smith: {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}
Ly: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

Both had top and bottom pairs, but Smith had both straight and flush draws, too. The turn brought the {7-Diamonds}, giving Smith a better two pair. Then the river was the {J-Spades}, improving Smith to a flush.

Smith is up around 85,000.

Omadraw

On a flop of {5-Spades}{7-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Hellmuth bet the pot, and Negreanu called with the rest of his chips. "I've got a draw," Negreanu shrugged, as he pushed his newly-purchased orange chips in front of him.

Negreanu: {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Hellmuth: {9-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Hearts}

The turn brought the {7-Hearts}, and Negreanu had a full house. Negreanu is back around 45,000. Hellmuth is down to 31,000.

Negreanu Takes His Rebuy Option Again

Down to 2,500 in chips, Erick Lindgren pushed all in and saw a four-way flop with Robert Williamson III, Daniel Negreanu, and Alex Kravchenko.

The flop came {J-Spades} {7-Spades} {3-Spades}.

Kid Poker went all in, and found one caller in Robert Williamson III.

Negreanu showed: {7-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {3-Hearts} for middle set
Williamson III showed: {K-Spades} {9-Spades} {K-Clubs} {2-Clubs} for the flush.
Lindgren mucked his hand.

The {6-Diamonds} turn and the {Q-Hearts} river did not help Daniel, as he and E-Dog rebought again. Williamson is now sitting at roughly 120,000.

Hallelujah

Chris "Jesus" Ferguson has just arrived as we prepare to begin Level 3. He has taken his seat next to Hoyt Corkins and across from Barny Boatman.

Rebuy Option Available for One More Level

Daniel Negreanu

Players are allowed to rebuy through the end of Level 3. One can rebuy whenever one's stack is at or below 10,000. Thus, when a player busts, that player can at that time rebuy for 10,000 (for $5,000) or double rebuy to 20,000 (for $10,000).

Just before the break, Daniel Negreanu had just made another double rebuy to 20,000, and more than doubled up on the last hand of Level 2. So he sits with about 45,000 at the moment.
