Double-Up David and Goliath

After that monster of a hand, the slow whittling of David Singer continued.

Singer bravely button-raised, but Fernandez reraised the pot. Singer eventually called, but laid it down when Fernandez led out for 250,000 on the {6-Spades}

flop.

Then, trying a different tack, Singer called Fernandez' minimum raise from the button, then led out for 25,000 on the {Q-Hearts}

flop. Continuing the domination, Fernandez made it 125,000, and Singer passed.

Down to just 320,000 by this point, something had to give. After limp/checking their way to a flop, our heads-up two saw a {7-Spades}

flop. Fernandez checked, and Singer bet 25,000. Fernandez made it 100,000, and after a brief dwell, Singer, with an air of resignation, made it all in. Call.
