Tran Off Life Support

At the start of the redraw, JC Tran had around 40,000 in chips. He later takes down a large pot, which builds his stack heading into the following hand.

A flop was seen between Aaron Katz, JC Tran, and Matt Woodward.

Flop: {Q-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {4-Hearts}

Tran checked, as did Woodward, and Katz led out. Both Tran and Woodward called. The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and again both players checked to Katz, who led out. Tran raised and both players called. The river was the {A-Clubs} and Tran fired into the pot again and was called by Woodward, while Katz folded.

Tran turned over pocket fours for a set, which was good enough to take scoop in the pot and put him up over 200,000.
