Sheikhan Scoops

Shawn Sheikhan bet all the way and was called down on each street by an opponent showing (X) (X) {10-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {9-Spades} (X).

At the showdown, Sheikhan showed {8-Spades} {5-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {3-Hearts} {A-Clubs} for trip fours and an eight-five low. Sheikhan scooped the entire pot.

Golf or Poker?

Daniel Negreanu has been carrying a black golf grip around with him all tournament long. When he's not involved in a hand, Negreanu is practicing his grip to make sure he is prepared for hitting the course next time around. One may think his mind isn't focused on poker, but he seems to be doing all right and reading hands very precisely as usual.

Mike Wattel Busted

Mike Wattel raised on third street against Robert Mizrachi and then did the same on fourth in order to get the rest of his chips in the middle.

Mizrachi: ({7-?}) ({6-?}) {A-Diamonds} {7-?} {8-?} {4-?} ({6-?})
Wattel: ({6-?}) ({2-?}) {A-Hearts} {Q-?} {Q-?} {J-?} ({5-?})

Wattel wasn't too happy that Mizrachi made two pair against his queens and quickly left the room.

Shannon Doubles Again

If there's one thing Shannon Elizabeth knows how to do this tournament, it's double up.

Elizabeth: (X) (X) {5-Hearts} {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} (X)
Doug Ganger: (X) (X) {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {8-Hearts} (X)

Ganger bet on third and Elizabeth called. On fourth, Ganger bet again and again Elizabeth called.

On fifth street, Shannon bet out and Ganger called. She then bet her last chips on sixth street and Ganger called.

Elizabeth turned over {7-Spades} {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} {6-Hearts} {6-Spades} {10-Hearts} {5-Hearts} for sevens full. Granger showed trip eights with {8-Spades} {8-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {2-Spades}. Neither had a low and Elizabeth doubled back to 11,500.

She seems to double back to around this same amount each time, dwindles back down, and then doubles again. No one can seem to bust her.

Levi and Feduniak Show it Down

Bob Feduniak completed the bring-in to a full 1,000 with the {5-Hearts} up. Brett Richey and David Levi came along with their door cards showing {8-Spades} and {5-Spades} respectively.

Feduniak: (X) (X) {5-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {10-Spades} {5-Clubs} (X)
Richey: (X) (X) {8-Spades} {4-Clubs} {3-Diamonds} {9-Clubs} (X)
Levi: (X) (X) {5-Spades} {9-Diamonds} {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} (X)

On fourth street, Feduniak kept the lead with a bet. Richey raised, and both Levi and Feduniak called. When Levi picked up the {A-Diamonds} on fifth, he led out, and both opponents smooth-called. Feduniak paired his five on seventh street, and he bet out, getting called by both men. On seventh, Feduniak bet, Richey folded, and Levi made the call.

Feduniak: {5-Hearts} {6-Clubs} {10-Spades} {5-Clubs} ({10-Diamonds} {10-Clubs} {7-Spades})

David Levi shows three aces and mucks his hand, as Feduniak scoops up a nice pot. He has chipped up to 35,000, while Levi has stumbled back to 13,000.
