Hand #38 - Greer

Keith Greer
Keith Greer
Keith Greer makes it 56,000 to play, Chris Bell makes the call.

{2-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}

Greer's check triggers a bet of 136,000 from Bell.

But it was a sneaky ploy as Greer calls all in and shows {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}!

Bell can only muster {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}.

Greer is on for a timely double through...

Turn = {5-Hearts}

Bell needs a jack...

River = {A-Diamonds}

However, it's Greer who rivers his set. Patience prevails and Greer wins a crucial pot.

Hand #37 - Bell

It folds to Bell in the small blind who just limps, and von Halle checks from the big.

They quickly check all the way down the {8-Clubs} {K-Spades} {2-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} board, at the end of which Bell shows pocket fives and von Halle can only muster ace-high.

Hand #36 - Bell

Chris Bell
Chris Bell
Ayaz Mahmood raises to 41,000 from the small blind , Chris Bell makes the call from the big.

Heads up to the flop...

{4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Spades}

Mahmood checks, Bell bets 40,000, Mahmood calls.

Turn = {8-Clubs}

Check, check.

River = {K-Spades}

Mahmood leads out for 60,000, Bell, with 353,000 behind, fidgets in his seat uncomfortably, glances over at his foe and makes the call.

Mahmood shows A-5 for high, Bell flips 9-6 to take the pot.

Hand #35 - Mahmood

Kitai limps in on the small blind, and Mahmood checks.

They check the {2-Spades} {7-Spades} {K-Spades} flop, and then check the {10-Spades} turn. The river is the {8-Clubs}, and Kitai bets out 18,000 -- only for Mahmood to make it 36,000. After some brief deliberation, Kitai folds and Mahmood takes the pot.

Hand #32 - Greer

Robert Cheung makes it 39,000 preflop, but Keith Greer, who has been quiet thus far, slides in a column of 5,000 orange chips for a reraise. Cheung doesn't look pleased...

The raise is for a total of 170,000, and it's enough to make Cheung fold.

Hand #31 - Cheung

Mahmood makes it 43,000 to go, and the action stalls on Cheung, who eventually calls.

Flop: {8-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {5-Clubs} -- check, check.

Turn: {7-Hearts} -- again, check, check.

{6-Clubs} -- more checks than a quality used car company.

Cheung shows {K-Spades} {J-Spades}, and it's good enough to win.

Hand #29 - Ben Roberts Eliminated in Eighth Place ($30,831)

Ben Roberts
Ben Roberts
Robert Cheung makes it 39,000 to play, only for Ben Roberts to move all in for 52,000 total. He may receive a call...

Indeed he does, and we're coin-flipping, Roberts' {7-Hearts}{7-Spades} looking to survive a picture-less board against Cheung's {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}.

Flop = {5-Spades}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}

Turn = {J-Clubs}

Oohs from the onlooking crowd.

River = {2-Spades}

Not a good day at the office for the two Brits who are the first to exit.
