Go Big or Go Home

With over 50 players starting the day with less than 20,000 chips, there was sure to be an early wave of eliminations. The short stacks seems to be making their stands with two big cards or any ace and, based on the line at the payout table which is now eight players deep, it doesn't appear to be working out for some of them.

Scott Locke Eliminated

Action folded around to Michael Guzzardi on the button and he raised to 4,800. Scott Locke moved all in from the big blind for 7,000 and Guzzardi made the call. The players showed:

Guzzardi: {A-Clubs} {3-Hearts}
Locke: {A-Hearts} {4-Spades}

The board ran out {Q-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {9-Spades} {3-Spades} {A-Spades} and Guzzardi's two pair was best. Scott Locke was eliminated.
