End of Day 2!

That will do it for Day 2 of the $5,000 Mixed Hold'em event.

Ninety-one runners returned to the felt for Day 2 action at 3 p.m. today. It took 11 and a half hours to get down to 9 of them, and along the way many big players made their exit. Anna Wroblewski, Hoyt Corkins, Berry Johnston, David Benyamine and Marcel Luske were among those not lucky enough to cash.

We thought that Event #1 had a stacked final table -- this one is even better. An absolutely deadly field of nine awaits the ESPN cameras on the morrow, as fellow Bodog spokesmen David Williams and Justin Bonomo join Erick Lindgren, Howard Lederer and Roland de Wolfe of Full Tilt, along with online phenom (and unlucky NETeller poster boy) Isaac Haxton. They will first have to get through chip dominating player, but virtual unknown, David Rheem, as well as wild cards Andrew Robl and Pat Pezzin.

It promises to be an exciting and unpredictable affair. See you back here at 3 p.m. Pacific time!

The chips have been tallied and bagged for the nine players returning for tomorrow's final in Event #4, $5,000 Mixed Hold'em, and it's official -- LA player David "Chino" Rheem will enter Wednesday's final as the chip leader. Small comfort for the leader, though, considering the next five spots are occupied by David Williams, Justin Bonomo, Erick Lindgren, Howard Lederer and Roland de Wolfe.

Here are the official day-end chip counts as released by the WSOP:

David "Chino" Rheem 885,000
David Williams 678,500
Justin Bonomo 517,500
Erick Lindgren 345,000
Howard Lederer 324,500
Roland de Wolfe 194,000
Andrew Robl 162,000
Isaac Haxton 115,500
Pat Pezzin 108,500

The Wednesday final is scheduled to begin at 3 pm Pacific time, with all the latest updates here at PokerNews.
