Railbirds Going At It

Both Jonathan Tamayo's group of fans and Nick Binger's have been extremely prominent in cheering for their respective players. Just recently, after Tamayo won a hand off Binger with king-high, Tamayo's railbirds went crazy yelling that king-high is good. Michael Binger chimed in from the rail, "You need king-high? Nick does it with seven-high!" referencing that hand that his brother just eliminated Chris Rentes on.

The two groups have been tossing some friendly banter and taunts back and forth the entire time, but it has been getting rowdier as the drinks keep flowing. If Tamayo and Binger get to play heads up, this should be a good one. Frank Gary may have something to say about that though.

Binger v. Tamayo

Nick Binger has kicked up the aggression even one more notch now that we're three handed. He has been raising nearly every pot two-and-a-half times the big blind, putting in 25,000 chips. Essentially, he is artificially increasing the betting limits, and he can afford to with his plethora of chips. This has the effect of stifling his opponents' decisions, and makes the relative size of his chip lead seem even larger.

Jonathan Tamayo is not backing down from mega-stacked Nick Binger though. While Frank Gary is sitting tight and quiet, it is apparent that Tamayo is more than willing to get into pots with the leader. More than half of the time Binger raises, Tamayo is right there calling, regardless of the position. We'll have to wait and see how it works out for Tamayo as he continues to tangle with Binger.

Binger Check-raised By Tamayo

No-Limit Hold'em:

Nick Binger raises from the button to 25,000. Jonathan Tamayo reraises from the small blind to 80,000. Frank Gary thinks for a minute before folding. Binger makes the call.

The flop comes {J-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {3-Diamonds}. Tamayo checks and Binger bets 80,000. Tamayo then raises all in for 269,000. Binger studies him for just a few moments and then folds with Tamayo's crowd going nuts.

Stunna-Shades for Binger

Since returning from break, Nick Binger has his stunna-shades on as he gets down to business. He's taken almost all of the pots so far by just raising preflop or betting the flop in the limit portion of this level.
