and the player on the button took the pot with an ace on the river to eliminate Blair Rodman from today's event.

The Bucket List

After talking with a several players, as well as family members and friends on the rail, we've learned that many players have entered today's event because it was an item on their "Bucket List"--that is, the list of things they wanted to do before they "kick the bucket"!

It's fantastic to see so many players enjoying themselves for the first time in a WSOP event, and hopefully it won't be their last!

Call Captain Marvel!! Billy Baxter Missing!!

Billy Baxter has not returned to this Senior's World Championship since the break. Actually, he has moved over to day 2 of the 2-7 lowball event. From the looks of thing, he may not come back. He has around 50,000 in the lowball event. He is down to 1,400 in the senior's event.

Baxter has seven bracelets. Six are in lowball and one is in razz. Max Shapiro once wrote, "Two things you don't do, pull on Superman's cape or play Billy Baxter in a lowball game."
