Annie Duke just arrived to visit her friend Erik Seidel. She laid out several patches/stickers for her upcoming Ante Up For Africa tournament and asked Seidel if he "would be so kind" as to help promote the event.
Seidel, jokingly, took each of the four or five stickers and held them up to his chest as if to plaster himself with the promotional material. He laughed, took them down, and now has them in front of him on the table edge.
Sam Khouiss recently butted heads with Joseph Haddad on a flop of . Sam held for the nut low draw and three of a kind. Haddad held for the same nut low.
Sam appeared to have the better end of the hand, with Haddad looking at getting quartered. Unfortunately for Sam, the turn was the , giving Haddad a straight.
Haddad took three quarters with his straight and nut low while Sam's nut low netted him the remaining quarter.
Sigi Stockinger took a hit to his chip stack after running A-2-2-6 into Mark Gallo's A-A-6-6. The board ran high, with Gallo spiking a six on the turn to make a set.
Ward Crane raised pot from middle position and Daniel Klein repotted from behind him. Crane said, "All right, let's go." and put the rest of his chips in the middle.

The board ran out and Klein's aces were good as they made two pair with the jacks on board. No low was possible and Crane out.
Originally, play had been taking place in the far corner of the Brasilia room. However, once they cleared out the $1,000 Rebuy tournament from this room, we got moved clear down to the other side. It took a bit to adjust, and the tournament staff stopped the clock in the meantime, but we're back in business now.
We're also much, much farther away from the nightly tournament as well, which means it's a whole lot quieter too.
