Joe Hachem Wins a Big Pot

Earlier today Joe Hachem chopped a pot after it looked like he was going to scoop and he said, "Can't win a pot. I haven't won a pot in a month." Perhaps an entire lunar cycle just flashed past because Hachem just won a nice pot that sent two players out of the tournament.

Hachem and Marco Traniello limped into the pot for 200 and a short-stacked player moved in for his last 325. Hachem then reraised enough to set Traniello all in and Marco made the call.

Hachem's held {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {J-Clubs} {5-Spades} to Traniello's {A-Spades} {2-Spades} {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} and the short stack's {K-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} {3-Hearts}. The {7-Clubs} {4-Clubs} {K-Hearts} gave the short stack a set and put Traniello in position to possibly win the low half of the pot, but the board ran out {Q-Spades} {10-Spades} to give Hachem the runner-runner straight, and with no low on the board he scooped the entire pot and sent Traniello and the short stack to the rail. Hachem is now up to 13,000.
