Gabe Kaplan Eliminated in 23rd Place

Gabe Kaplan was crippled the hand before when he folded on the river in a three-way pot with Scotty Nguyen and Michael DeMichele. "You got two pair, you got it, baby," Nguyen said to DeMichele, who turned over trip eights to scoop the pot.
When Kaplan folded, he was left with just 80,000 chips and he lost those on the next hand. He committed the last of his chips showing a pair of fives, and when they never improved he lost to Huck Seed's pair of jacks. Kaplan didn't make a low hand and the last of Kaplan's chips went Huck's way.
