He Likes Things Just So

It's said that one of the advantages online poker has over live play is that when you play online you have control over your environment. You can play at your desk or in bed or lounging in a hot tub (not recommended). Don't feel like getting dressed up? No problem--you can play in your sweats, in your underwear, or wearing nothing at all (not recommended).

But David Bach is doing what he can to be as comfortable as possible. He's been getting a massage for several hours now--and we're talking about a deep-tissue, this-might-leave-a-bruise rubdown. And Bach plays with a little fan sitting on the table to blow a cool breeze his way. That fan just ran out of batteries, but disaster was averted when Bach popped in a fresh pair. If you want to be completely comfortable at the poker table, you have to be prepared.
