Hand #35: Edward Ochana

Richard Lyndaker folded from the button, Edward Ochana raised to 105,000 from the small blind, and Joe Commisso made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {8-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Ochana promptly set out a stack of 160,000 in front of him. Commisso made the call.

The turn was the {6-Spades}. Ochana set out a stack of green chips -- 325,000. Commisso rubbed his chin, then with the same deliberation he's shown every time he bets, counted out his chips, and made the call.

The river was the {2-Diamonds}. Ochana tapped the felt to check, and Commisso sat for a brief moment before counting out his bet: 325,000.

Ochana sat back in his chair. After a half-minute or so, he leaned forward and counted out his chips. He made the call.

Ochana turned over {K-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for eights and deuces, and Commisso mucked.

Hand #39: Edward Ochana

Edward Ochana raised to 85,000 from the button, Joe Commisso folded from the small blind, and Richard Lykander called from the big blind.

Lykander checked in the dark, and the flop came {4-Spades}{8-Spades}{A-Spades}. Ochana checked behind.

The turn was the {7-Hearts}. This time Lykander bet 125,000, and Ochana made the call.

The river was the {A-Clubs}, and Lykander quickly checked. Ochana bet 170,000, and Lykander folded.

Relative Calm After Early Storm

After that early flurry that saw three eliminations in rapid succession, our three remaining players appear to have settled down somewhat with their still quite deep stacks. The crowd in the Milwaukee's Best Light No Limit Lounge has also grown quieter as they watch the trio trade chips back and forth.

One gets the sense, though, that we are only a raise and reraise away from another all-in confrontation.

Joe Commisso has pushed back out in front with 3.55 million, Richard Lykander has 2.49 million, and Edward Ochana has slipped to 2.02 million.

Hand #41: Edward Ochana

In the last hand of the level, Richard Lyndaker folded from the button. Then Edward Ochana raised to 130,000 from the small blind. Joe Commisso called from the big blind.

The flop came {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}. Ochana bet 150,000, and Commisso called. The turn was the {8-Diamonds}, possibly completing a number of draws. Ochana took a quick peek at Commisso, then pushed out 250,000. Commisso thought for a minute, then folded.
