Seven and Holding

We're still here. As are our seven remaining players. And about 25 other interested onlookers. No big pots over the last 15 minutes or so. Joe Commisso maintains his chip lead, and Davidi Kitai and Will Fallai continue to guard their short stacks.

Just Kidding

Will Failla raised to 55,000 from the button, and Joe Commisso reraised to 250,000 from the small blind. Richard Lyndaker folded in the big blind, and the action was back on Failla.

"How much you got left?" asked Failla. "Are you serious?" answered Commisso, who had about 900,000 more chips than Failla when the hand began.

Failla folded.

The Final 7

We're down to seven players now and have condensed to one table. The seating assignments are as follows, along with chip counts.

Seat 1: Samuel Trickett - 1,120,000
Seat 2: Davidi Kitai - 450,000
Seat 3: Will Failla - 582,000
Seat 4: Joe Commisso - 1,450,000
Seat 5: Richard Lyndaker - 1,750,000
Seat 6: Tom Lutz - 1,100,000
Seat 7: Edward Ochana - 1,540,000

Once we lose one more player, play will cease for the night.

Jimmy Wong Eliminated in 8th Place ($82,858)

Jimmy Wong - 8th Place
Jimmy Wong - 8th Place
In the previous hand, Jimmy Wong limped from the small blind and then Richard Lyndaker raised to 40,000 from the big blind. Wong called, but wasn't happy about doing so.

The flop came {A-?} {J-?} {8-?} and Wong shoved all in for around 250,000. Lyndaker folded and couldn't really understand why Wong shoved. Wong slammed over {K-?} {3-?} for just king high.

On the very next hand, Wong raised from the button. Lyndaker came over the top and then Wong immediately moved all in. Lyndaker announced, "I call." Wong turned up {A-Spades} {10-Clubs} and jumped from his chair. Lyndaker rolled over {A-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs}.

Wong yelled, "Tens lucky!"

The dealer dealt the flop, {J-Diamonds} {8-Spades} {2-Spades}. Then a big {10-Diamonds} hit the turn and Wong slapped his hands together. But just like that it was gone again when the {Q-Hearts} hit the river. This time Lyndaker slapped his hands together as he got the elimination of Wong.

Wong left the tournament area with a smile on his face, just as he played with all day and night long.

Lutz Takes One from Ochana

Tom Lutz reraised from the small blind to 135,000 after Edward Ochana had raised to 46,000 from under the gun. Ochana made the call.

The flop came {K-Clubs} {8-Spades} {6-Diamonds} and Lutz led out for 150,000. Ochana raised to 350,000. After some thought, Lutz moved all in for 759,000 total. This sent Ochana into the tank for a while. After a few minutes, he finally folded.

Lutz moved to 1.39 million and Ochana dropped back to six figures with 815,000.

Lopsided

There's a little over eight million in chips in play and Table #1 with Edward Ochana, Samuel Trickett, Joe Commisso, and Tom Lutz has two-thirds of all the chips in play and all of the big stacks.

Commisso Makes the Call

Samuel Trickett raised to 42,000 from under the gun, Joe Commisso reraised to 135,000 from the small blind, and Trickett called.

Both checked the {J-Clubs}{A-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. The turn brought the {3-Spades}, and Commisso bet out 150,000. Trickett called.

The river was the {5-Diamonds}. Commisso checked, and Trickett bet 225,000. Commisso scratched his head, counted out his chips, and finally made the call.

Commisso showed {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, good enough to beat Trickett's {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. Commisso is up to 1.86 million, and Trickett has 1.24 million.
