It seems that getting a solid night's sleep has increased the appetite of players to get their chips in. Daniel Nicewander is the latest player to bust after calling Ryan Hughes on every street to the river. Hughes's board came x-x / , while Nicewander's board came x-x / . Nicewander was all in by the river, where Hughes turned over in the hole for two pair, sixes and threes. Nicewander couldn't come up with a better high or a qualifying low.
For his 11th-place finish, Nicewander receives $11,880.
Margaret Macre drew into a nice-looking board of x-x / . She led the betting on every street, and was called each time by one opponent -- Ron Long, who had taken a bit of an early hit to his stack today after being reraised a few times on third street and having to fold on fourth or fifth. Long showed a nice low board of x-x / .
On the river, Macre again bet and Long again called. "Kings full," said Macre, turning over in the hole. There was only one problem - Macre didn't actually have kings full. Instead she had three pair, for a final hand of two pair, kings and jacks. Long opened in the hole, for a seven-high straight for high and a six-five for low. That enabled him to scoop the whole pot.
After this costly error, Macre is down to just 30,000 chips, while Long rockets up to 185,000.
