How Sweet It is for Sugar Bear

Al Barbieri brought it in with the {2-Hearts} and was called, but not completed, by two players, one with the {9-Diamonds} and the other with the {10-Spades}. On fourth street, Barbieri caught the {2-Clubs} for an open pair of deuces, and led the betting against the {9-Diamonds} {5-Spades} and the {10-Spades} {6-Hearts}. On fifth street, one of Barbieri's opponents made an open pair of nines, but checked the action to Barbieri when he caught the {A-Hearts}. Those two players were heads up to sixth street, where the boards read:

Barbieri: x-x / {2-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades}
Opponent: x-x / {9-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {9-Clubs} {3-Clubs}

Barbieri's opponent bet. Barbieri thought things over briefly, then called. Both players checked the river. Barbieri's opponent couldn't do better than the pair of nines on his board, but Barbieri found another queen in the hole for two pair, queens and deuces. He scooped the pot.
