Slutter Gets Excited

Daan Slutter was all in preflop with {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades} against an opponent's {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. However, when the flop came {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{8-Clubs}, it left Slutter in trouble. The turn was an {8-Spades} but then the {J-Clubs} fell on the river.

Slutter was all excited when he saw the river land, but then realized that his opponent held a bigger full house. Slutter is still well placed with 69,000

Eric Crain Retakes the Chip Lead

On a flop of {K-Clubs} {9-Spades} {5-Clubs}, Crain checked and his opponent bet out 28,000 . Crain then check-raised all in and his opponent called. Crain held {5-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} for the set and his opponent held {A-Clubs} {7-Clubs} for the flush draw. The turn was the {3-Diamonds}, helping neither player, but the river of the {K-Diamonds} gave Crain the full house, the pot, and the overall chip lead at approximately 320,000 in chips.

Blair Rodman Eliminated

Defending champion Blair Rodman moved all in for 33,000 in late position and was called by Vincent Dulac.

Rodman: {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds}
Dulac: {A-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}

On a flop of {10-Hearts} {4-Spades} {3-Spades}, Rodman was ahead, but a {2-Spades} on the turn gave Dulac the wheel. A harmless {Q-Clubs} fell on the river and Blair Rodman has been eliminated from today's event.

Nikolay Evdakov Makes WSOP History

Nikolay Evdakov
Nikolay Evdakov
Blake Cahail raised it up from the button and Nikolay Evdakov made the call from the big blind. They took a flop of {J-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Evdakov checked, allowing Cahail to fire out 6,500. Evdakov then reraised all in for a total of 33,800. Cahail made the call.

Cahail: {J-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Evdakov: {6-?}{5-?}

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and river a repeat {8-Diamonds} to eliminate Evdakov from today's event.

Evdakov has made history here today when he officially busted out of the tournament to break the all-time record for most number of cashes in a single World Series of Poker. This was his ninth cash of the series, which breaks the record, previously tied at eight.

Congraultations, Nikolay, on this tremendous achievement.
