Hand #35 – David Daneshgar

The button is with Corwin Cole in Seat 9. Andrey Zaichenko raised it up to 105,000 from early position before David Daneshgar moved all in for 360,000. The blinds folded and Zaichenko snap-called.

Daneshgar: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Zaichenko: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The board of {4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}{J-Hearts} gave Daneshgar a set of eights to take down the pot and double up!

Hand #33 – Jeff Courtney Eliminated in 8th Place ($84,546)

Jeff Courtney - 8th Place
Jeff Courtney - 8th Place
The button is with Jeff Courtney in Seat 7. The action folded to the aggressive Farzad Rouhani who raised it up to 105,000. From the button, Jeff Courtney came over the top for all of his chips as the blinds stepped out of the way. It was an additional 475,000 for Rouhani to make the call, as he stood up once again to cut down his chips and consider the decision. After some friendly table banter he said “Let’s go!” and made the call.

Rouhani: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Courtney: {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Rouhani spiked a pair of queens to storm to the chip lead and eliminate Courtney in 8th place for $84,546.

Hand #31 – Farzad Rouhani

The button is with Andrey Zaichenko in Seat 4. The action folded to Farzad Rouhani in the cutoff who raised to 75,000. Jeff Courtney made the call in the big blind.

The two players took a flop of {5-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Courtney led out with a bet of 150,000 as a seemingly frustrated Rouhani stood up and cut down his remaining chips. He eventually decided to move all in with his last 472,000 chips and Courtney quickly called.

Rouhani: {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}
Courtney: {J-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

Rouhani held the lead with his overpair and nut flush draw to leave Courtney drawing slim. The turn was the {9-Hearts} giving Rouhani the nut flush to leave Courtney drawing dead. The river is a meaningless {7-Clubs} and Rouhani doubled up to around 1 million in chips!

Hand #29 – Andrey Zaichenko

The button is with Matt Matros in Seat 2. Corwin Cole made it 75,000 to go from middle position before Dan Heimiller announced a reraise to 225,000. The action folded to Andrey Zaichenko in the big blind who moved all in for a total of 889,000. Cole got out of the way as Heimiller asked for a count. After some thought, Heimiller released his hand as Zaichenko flashed pocket queens!
