Hand #43 – Corwin Cole

The button is with Dan Heimiller in Seat 1. The action passed around to Corwin Cole who made it 100,000 to go from the cutoff. Matt Matros was the lone caller from the small blind.

The flop landed {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} and Matros checked to Cole who made a continuation bet of 135,000. Matros then announced a check-raise to a total of 400,000. Cole moved all in and Matros quickly called.

Cole: {6-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Matros: {Q-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

Cole held the lead with a set of sixes but Matros had a lot of outs with straight and flush possibilities. However the turn ended the race as the {A-Hearts} gave Cole a full house and a lock in the hand. A meaningless {Q-Spades} fell on the river as Cole doubles up to become our new chip leader and put Matros on the short stack!

Hand #44 – Corwin Cole

The button is with Matt Matros in Seat 2. Scott Sitron raised to 100,000 from middle position, and Corwin Cole called from the hijack seat.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}. Sitron bet 150,000, and Corwin called. The turn was the {3-Spades}. This time Sitron checked, and Corwin bet 325,000. Sitron folded, and Corwin took the pot.

Hand #46 – Andrey Zaichenko Eliminated in 7th Place ($112,116)

Andrey Zaichenko - 7th Place
Andrey Zaichenko - 7th Place
Andrey Zaichenko moved all in for 770,000 from the button, and Scott Sitron quickly called from the small blind. David Daneshgar folded his big blind, and the players tabled their cards.

Sitron {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Zaichenko {9-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Oof! Bad timing there for Zaichenko. The board came {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds}, and Zaichenko was eliminated in 7th. Sitron is now up to 1.88 million. He's in second position now behind Cole.

Hand #48 - David Daneshgar

The button is with David Daneshgar in Seat 8. It folded to Daneshgar who made it 105,000 to go. Corwin Cole then put his big stack to work and moved all in from the small blind. Dan Heimiller folded the big blind, and Daneshgar went into the tank before eventually making the call for his tournament life.

Daneshgar: {A-Hearts}{J-Clubs}
Cole: {8-Spades}{6-Spades}

It was a great call by Daneshgar as he held the lead with Cole on the re-steal attempt. The board ran out {9-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} and Daneshgar doubles up through the chip leader!

Hand #49 – Dan Heimiller

Dan Heimiller
Dan Heimiller
The button is with Corwin Cole. The table folded around to Dan Heimiller in the small blind and Matt Matros in the big blind. Heimiller and Matros are our two short stacks at the moment, both with around 550,000. Heimiller completed and Matros checked his option.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}. Heimiller checked, Matros bet 75,000, and Heimiller called. The turn was the {8-Hearts}. Heimiller checked again, and this time Matros checked.

The river brought the {8-Diamonds}. An intriguing board, for sure. Heimiller bet 150,000, and Matros folded.

Heimiller showed {8-Spades}{5-Spades} as he dragged the pot. He'd flopped the straight and slowplayed it, but those eights on the turn and river had muted Matros' interest.
